SUMMARY:Annual General Meeting - 27 August 2025 - Scone RSL 6pm
DESCRIPTION:The AGM this year is to be held earlier (see below) for some very good reasons!\n\n\nNumber 1 is that the small committee of past years – is too small! We need more interest and assistance to ensure that we can deliver a senior competition that has anywhere between 40 and 50 teams. A junior competition of 25-30 teams and a Representative Season with potential teams in the U10’s\, 12’s\, 14’s and 16’s.\n\n\nIt is the same people year in and year out who have put their hand up and this year we need a change. Not necessarily a change of personnel – but a change in attitude from players\, parents etc in making a commitment to put some time in our Touch Competitions and / or Representative season.\n\n\nThe AGM is of course where the nominations will be received – but if anyone is interested to find out more about what is involved beforehand – please touch base. Initially send us an email at sconetouch@gmail.com and one of the existing committee will be in touch to answer your questions or fill you in further in how help can be offered.\n\n\nWe have seen several once thriving sports falter and / or fail – due to lack of people being prepared to get in and help.\n\n\nWe want to ensure that that does not happen to Scone Touch. We don’t want to survive – we want to thrive!! Having an influx of new assistance\, ideas and enthusiasm will make all the difference.\n\n\nPlease mark the date in your calendars.\n\n\nPlease think how you can help with the running of the Club. It doesn’t have to be every week – it doesn’t have to be a specific job. We need help in all aspects – including the General Committee.\n\n\nLooking forward to stirring up some interest!
