If you are wishing to take advantage of our family discount competition. You can not utalise the active kids voucher. The Family would need to pay in full or if wishing to use active kids vouchers register as all individuals.

Touch Football Returns to Scone

With the announcement of the return to play Touch Football for all of community sport from 1 July, we are excited to return to our the Bill Rose Sports Complex with Senior and Junior Mixed Competitions starting 15 October. So dust off your boots, get your teams organised and be ready to play again.

Touch football is a simple sport that anyone can play! All ages and genders, and different abilities can play together, so you can put a family or work team together. It’s a really welcoming, inclusive community. If you’ve ever thought about seeing what Touch Football’s about, now’s the time to give it a go!

Touch Football have developed protocols to ensure your safe participation. It will still look a little different for a while, to ensure we maintain proper health and safety protocols, but we can play again.

A very important Annual General Meeting will be held two weeks before competition starts on 24 September. Confirmation of time and location will be forthcoming. Note that attendance by a member from every team is mandatory. If teams do not have a rep at the AGM – they will be excluded from the competition. Further, there will be NO teams added to the Competitions after the AGM – so you need to be organised

Junior News and events

The popular Junior Competition will be a little different this year. We are having three age groups to try and even up the games.

The shorter 10 week competition leading up to Christmas will be for players who are in Kindergarten and Year 1 in 2020. There are no finals for this age group – the emphasis is on fun and learning the basics.

The other two age groups will be for those in Years 2 & 3, and Years 4,5 & 6 in 2020. These competitions will extend into 2021 and have a semi final series at the end.

Competition will start on 15th October – all players must be registered to take the field. Players can only play in one team in a competition – no swapping or ‘helping out’. We can change teams around if need be during the competition.
